I loved the communication they have. Always giving details and helpful insights. Also little Bible verses hidden thought the house. Such great inspiration!

It could use a TLC but is a cabin . We liked the location a lot We didn’t like the “ upgrades “ offers It served our purpose well .

Staying here was great! They did change their couches and layout a bit, which doesn’t show an updated picture, but i was stunned! Such a beautiful place and the lake was huge. I’m glad how he has a list of things to do and lots of games to play outside. I’m willing to book again next year!

Place looked way nicer in pics. Was a person living in a rv behind the house. Lots of trash on other parts of the property. Stepped on a nail beside the fire pit and dog poop shortly before!!

Mike and the team managing are hardworking, they really helped accommodate us. The initial property was described as multiple spaces and more. Mike jumped in and got us moved to something that could work for the whole stay so I could work while my family enjoyed the quiet. The pictures are a bit confusing. But its correctible. The homes are newly divided spaces. If you need a dish washer or washer dryer read through to get the right one. The kayaks were alot of fun. If you are on the bigger side there is a life jacket for boating and things. Cornhole board were nice. Lots of sitting space outdoor. The hot tub is massive and would stay for just that. You can rent pontoons (extra charge)which we may do next time. Would stay again. Thanks team

Pool was not useable and the kitchen sink had no water pressure. Construction on “man cave” was communicated in advance but the random person living in the mobile home in the backyard was NOT. Had contractors on site to work on man cave and noise was not an issue they were respectful and handled their business without interfering with us. I am dumbfounded there was a person living in a trailer on the property. They had stuff all over the back area as if they had been there for weeks. I didn’t rate lower than a 3-star because it was a beautiful location and nice to have kayaks made available on site at no charge and you have private lake access. This could easily be a 5-star rental but for our particular stay, it was not.

This place is all about location. If you’re looking for waterfront and kayaking this is great. If you’re looking for a comfortable place to sleep for a night I would get a hotel. The property is undergoing construction but that did not disturb us.

The house was huge and very clean. The location was beautiful and so relaxing by the water!

Great place will be back

While we feel this place is probably best enjoyed in warmer weather, (because of the lake and outside amenities), we enjoyed our time there. We loved the view and were surprised to see people ice fishing. (So if you’re an angler this is the place for you.) Definitely a quiet peaceful weekend. Hopefully one of these days we’ll make it up during the summer. We would love to sit outside and enjoy a sunrise/sunset on the lake.

Absolutely loved staying here, Frank was amazing at communicating and answering all of my questions. Would definitely stay here again, you can see the beautiful lake straight out the windows, lots of natural light, great use of space, loved the hot tub. The only thing a little misleading is the proximity from the house to the hot tub. Overall absolutely beautiful stay, great people, will be coming back again.

This is the perfect spot. 20 minutes in any direction to activities and civilization but you can wake up to a sunrise over the lake. This team was excellent, every accommodation was made to be sure we had a great time. I asked for a bread pan, one was delivered; I asked for a fishing pole, two were presented; I asked for a fire, lo and behold and lighter and a fire starter appeared! I sat on the dock and watched fish jump, swans swim, boaters have the time of their lives and attempt to catch BIG fish. I failed, but I tried and it was gloriously relaxing and fun. I have already recommended this spot to several friends, knowing they will love it as much as we did.

The cottage was a little difficult to find but Frank and Michael responded quickly to my messages and phone calls. That didn’t take away at all from how great the cottage was once we got in. It was incredibly clean and the view of the lake was amazing!

They hot tub is the biggest and the most amazing I’ve ever been in in my life. The water pressure in the shower was amazing!The bed was pretty comfortable. Location was great.

Felt like a hide away didn’t have to leave if you didn’t want to lots to do right there Even had someone playing music we sat on the dock and enjoyed that overall wonderful time

The house was great for our group. Nothing luxurious but had a lot of beds and everything we needed and was located on the lake with plenty of space outside. We had a blast there.

I spent my 6 month anniversary with my girl and it was sooo beautiful! Nice cabin home on a lake with a Jacuzzi.... what more can you ask for!

We stay with a range of kids and our dog, everyone had a great time. Can’t wait to come back!

Overall the place was ok. The couches were futons, very uncomfortable. The only comfortable bed is the one in the living area. Loved the location it was relaxing and peaceful. Close to a couple stores. The swim spa closes at 10pm which was a bummer they didn't mention that. The game room in garage was not much of a game room. Over priced for what u get.

This was a super cute cottage right on the water’s edge. They had canoes, a pool, games in the garage, hot tub, and full amenities inside of the house. Frank and Mike were super responsive hosts and had extensive and direct instructions. They catered to my later check-in time as well. Would definitely stay again.

It's all about the location!

I don’t feel that they were prepared for summmer went June 19 and no pool. The spa was ready , the volleyball court wasn’t cleared . There was no was clothes or hand towels, no dish towels. One smoke detector and had to call for battery, which they came quickly. There’s lots of sleeping arrangements but not really room for much more. We still had a good time but wish they put a little more effort into the place.

what a great host! booked us last min even let us stay linger then checkout so I could enjoy the lake a bit more. It was so peaceful thank you for everything and sharing your home with us!

He offered the next house because was available and it's has 1 bedroom more and all was good. We had a beautiful weekend. We would like to be back. Super recomendable.

We had a wonderful stay. Frank and Mike were extremely helpful and provided an extra air mattress for one of our guests. Plenty of things to do from sitting around the fire to hanging out in the hot tub and table tennis in the garage. The place came with a great AC unit that kept everything cool during 80+ afternoons. Would stay here again.

His home was not only beautiful but had so many things to do, unfortunately we didn't have enough time to experience everything the place had to offer. Views of the lake were perfect. Check in was easy. Hosts were attentive and concerned about everything being perfect for our stay. The wife is already thinking of getting a group of friends together to come back.

Spa pool was great

Nice place. Everything you need is close, the view to the water is great. They just might have the largest hot tub I've ever seen. I really enjoyed my stay and would come back.

The booking process was very difficult. I spent hours between Airbnb and Vrbo and they were unable to finalize my booking. Finally through 4rentUS we booked the Sunshine Cottage. The host had great communication but asked way too many questions about why we were staying after I was told our stay is none of their business. The host checked twice if our WiFi was working when we never complained about the WiFi working. Some things were broken when we arrived like a kitchen drawer handle and a privacy screen in the living room area. There was no kitchen sponge or brush to clean dishes even though it was required by the host to clean and put away dishes prior to leaving, which we still did. Over all our stay was okay.

Great stay! Went for a work trip and was able to enjoy the lake after work and relax

The cottage was very nice to live on with there being an amazing yard and many activities to do on the location. The hot tub and pool was amazing and the house was very clean and well kept. The property managers were also great with them being very accommodating and helpful as well as keeping communications up to help out with any problems we may have. Overall we had a great time and would for sure rent again if the opportunity arises.

We planned on relaxing and not doing much. We were able to watch the Beautiful Lake sunrise. It was stunning, the weather was almost perfect. Except for rain. For a couple days, we rented a pontoon. We saw 2 beautiful mute swans with 2 babies. 2 sand Hill cranes landed on the shore and were singing for us. In the morning, it was very nice there. Thank you, Frank, and a big shout out. Goes to Mike, who is the best caretaker I've ever met. I've stayed in a lot of VRBOs and this caretaker is. It's the best, thank you again, Mike, Frank and Team. We enjoyed our stay and we will be back.

Beautiful place to stay, although fees that should have been added into the original price were added the day before we arrived and still waiting to hear back about receiving our pet deposit back since everything was left as is was found.

This cabin and it’s location was perfect for a cozy, fun and relaxing get away! Plenty to keep entertained and enjoy throughout the stay- even in the beginning of spring we got a lot out of the amenities available to us. Hot tub, fire pit, grill, kayaks, right off the lake, volley ball net and game room with pool, foosball and ping pong all in the garage area. Had a pool as well. Easy to find and access! Very peaceful and relaxing environment and even though there are neighbors, you totally feel secluded and able to have privacy and enjoy the huge yard right off the lake. The hosts were fantastic! Easy check in and met us to confirm the property was kept and ready to our liking. I will definitely be back during the summer months to really experience all they have to offer. I highly recommend you check them out!

this is a beautiful location but seems a little pricey for what you get. we were greeted by the property manager and asked to pay an extra $75 for "cleaning fees" before we were given the code for the cabin. overall it was a good experience but I don't think we will be staying there again

As advertised not a new home, great location , access to grand rapids, restaurants, activities in minutes. the lake is great, fishing, boating and swimming. prompt response to all questions. A special thank you to Mike he went above and beyond to make stay exceptional for it family. even shared fishing secrets lol. would definitely stay again.
